Instead of known pump tube systems the above roller pump operates with new flexible tube cassettes (2) produced by thermoplastic forming and presenting embossed pump segments.n essential characteristic of the new roller pump (1) is that for the use of tube cassettes (2) it is configured with adjacent, parallel pump tube segments (3) such that narrow roller pump units (4) can be arranged next to each other along a shared axis (6) in a modular manner. The number of such units corresponds to the requirements of the pump tube segments (3) of the tube cassette (2) which are embossed in accordance with the flow sheet of the pump tube system.
