[origin: EP1138415A2] The tool holder has two holder units (1) on a carriage (3) and tool adjustment units, each with an adjustable wedge (7). Each of the holder units with associated wedge is formed as a modular unit, which can be individually detached from the carriage. Each holder unit also has an integral wedge guide (13) and wedge bearing (12). The holder units are located on removeable plates on the carriage.
