[origin: EP1138444A1] The pliers has a control region with a pressure medium connection (81) and valve (71), at least one working piston (36) controlled by the valve, jaws halves (19) pivoted by a thrust element, a valve pin actuated by a trigger transversely to the piston's direction of motion and a force sensor (26) in the force transfer path between the working piston and the jaws halves for measuring as force dependent on the closing force of the jaws halves. Independent claims are also included for the following: a construction kit system with pressure medium pliers.
