[origin: EP1138566A1] A movable platform (2) for the arrival terminal of a ski lift comprises an endless belt conveyor (4, 6) consisting of a self-supporting external structure, an endless belt (26) supported and guided by a plurality of pinions, a driving station (18) and a return station (16); the endless belt conveyor (4, 6) comprises a first horizontal stationary section (4) and a second section (6), with variable set up, so that the second section (6) can be horizontally positioned, during normal operation of the movable platform, and can on the contrary be inclined in case the conveyor operation is stopped. <IMAGE>
