Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1138850A2] Device for removal of floor coverings incorporates a thrust roll (5) for pressing the floor covering (1) onto the circumference of the first deflector roll (4). The first deflector roll (4) is installed in the frame (2) in such a way that its rotation results in forward drive of the frame. The cutting edge (3') of the separation knife (3) is separated from the circumferential surface of the first deflector roll (4) by a distance corresponding to the thickness of the floor covering.
