Abstract (en)
The detonator (1) contains a pyrotechnic charge inside a container (2). The container is attached to an insulated plug body (16). The charge is ignited by an electric current fed to a resistance element via connector pins (7). When connected, a free male socket is inserted in the connection cavity (40). When the connection is broken, by removal of the socket, a simple mechanism shorts out the pins (7) to prevent inadvertent ignition.

L'invention a pour objet un initiateur pyrotechnique (1) comprenant au moins une composition pyrotechnique disposée à l'intérieur d'un boîtier (2) composé d'un étui (4) sensiblement cylindrique prolongé par au moins deux broches (7a,7b). Cet initiateur est caractérisé en ce que le boîtier (2) est solidaire d'une embase (16) portant des trous recevant les broches (7a,7b) et comportant également une cavité (40) à l'intérieur de laquelle s'étendent les broches, cavité destinée à recevoir un composant électrique ou électronique et/ou un connecteur. <IMAGE>
