Abstract (en)
[origin: DE10008969A1] Breathalyzer uses a gallium oxide (Ga2O3) gas sensor. This is mounted in a housing (4) with a partition wall containing an aperture so that breath flows through in a main stream (2) and is deflected to form a sub-stream (3) which flows over the sensor. An Independent claim is included for a method for operating the breathalyzer in which the sensor is heated to a constant temperature.

Abstract (de)
<IMAGE>
