[origin: DE10016141C1] The device has a bimetallic element, a manual setting device and a contact arrangement that can be displaced by the bimetallic element and is connected to the setting device for setting its switching point. A one-piece insulating mounting block has parallel mounting slots for the contact arrangement's attachment end, a fixed contact carrier and the fixed end of the bimetallic element. The setting device bearer is in one piece with the block. The device has a bimetallic element, a manual setting device (3) and a contact arrangement with fixed and moving contacts that can be displaced by the bimetallic element and is connected to the setting device for setting its switching point. A bearer consists of a one-piece mounting block (13) of insulating material with a number of parallel mounting slots (14) for insertion of the attachment end of the contact arrangement, a fixed contact carrier and the fixed end of the bimetallic element. The carrying element for the setting device is in one piece with the bearer.
