Abstract (en)
The tube has an electron beam generation system and a fluorescent screen in the image tube and a deflection unit outside the tube with a vertical deflection coil pair with two parts and a horizontal deflection coil pair. The center of deflection of the vertical deflection field is closer to the beam generation system than that of the horizontal deflection field to minimize vertical imaging distortion in the center of the screen. The tube has an electron beam generation system (13) and a fluorescent screen (14) within the image tube and a deflection unit mounted outside the tube. The deflection unit has a vertical deflection coil pair (16,17) with two parts, with the second part closer to the electron beam generation system, and a horizontal deflection coil pair (15). The center of deflection of the vertical deflection field is shifted closer to the beam generation system than that of the horizontal deflection field to minimize vertical imaging distortion in the center of the screen. An arrangement modulates the deflection current in the upper and lower image regions with the second part of the vertical coil pair. Independent claims are also included for the following: a color television or monitor with a color image tube.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Farbbildröhre mit einer verbesserten Ablenkeinheit für geringere Abbildungsfelder. An der Farbbildröhre ist eine Ablenkeinheit mit einem vertikalen Ablenkspulenpaar und einem horizontalen Ablenkspulenpaar montiert. Das vertikale Ablenkspulenpaar erzeugt ein vertikales Ablenkfeld und das horizontale Ablenkspulenpaar erzeugt ein horizontales Ablenkfeld. Das vertikale Ablenkspulenpaar ist mehrteilig ausgebildet, wobei ein Teil näher am Elektronenstrahlerzeugungssystem angeordnet ist. Die wenigstens zwei Teile des vertikalen Ablenkspulenpaares sind so gestaltet, dass der Ablenkschwerpunkt des vertikalen Ablenkfeldes relativ zu dem des horizontalen Ablenkfeldes in Richtung des Elektronenstrahlerzeugungssystems verschoben ist. Dadurch können vertikale Abbildungsverzeichnungen im mittleren Bereich des Leuchtschirms minimiert werden. Zusätzliche an der Farbbildröhre vorgesehen Mittel schwächen den Ablenkstrom für das vertikale Ablenkspulenpaar am oberen und unteren Bildrand ab. <IMAGE>
