[origin: DE19953938A1] Disclosed is a device for gently removing tissue from animal or human tissue. The inventive device comprises a hollow cannula that is provided with a hollow canal. The invention is characterised in that the hollow cannula is embodied as a multiwall hollow cannula and is provided with at least two cannula walls that enclose at least one space which is open on the distal side. A cutting wire which can be supplied with electrical energy protrudes from the distal side of the space. A supply line for a substance stream is provided on the proximal side and in the space of the multiwall hollow cannula. The supply line and the space are configured in such a way that the substance stream flows through the space and exits through the distal side thereof. A negative pressure source can be connected to the proximal side on the hollow canal pertaining to the multiwall hollow cannula.
