[origin: WO0038826A1] The inventive device is provided with a chamber which is subdivided into a lower space (3) and an upper space (4) by horizontal tubes (2) which are arranged parallel in relation to one another. Adjacent tubes are interlinked by respective spacers (5). Said spacer has first openings (6) which allow one fluid component to penetrate from the lower space (3) into the upper space (4). Adjacent tubes (2) have walls (8) which diverge from the spacer (5) towards the top. Said tubes have second openings (9) close to the spacer. Said second openings allow the second fluid component to penetrate from the tubes into the upper space (4). Thus, three fluid flows meet directly above the spacer (5), which results in an intimate mixture of the flows. A homogeneous mixture is produced across the entire area defined by the tubes (2).
