[origin: WO0040484A1] The invention relates to a dosing device for bulk goods which comprises a hopper (1) whose outlet opening is closed by two spherical cap halves (3, 4) which can be pivoted in opposite directions. The pivoting movement is effected by two arms (5, 6) which are pivoted about a common pivot pin (8). The spherical cap halves (3, 4) can be pivoted by means of a rod assembly (18, 19, 22, 23) comprising a vertically mobile plunger (14). To prevent the formation of bridges in the bulk good a rotating loosening and scraping element (30) is provided for whose base part (31) reaches almost as far as the outlet opening. With the above dosing device both large and small quantities of bulk goods can be discharged in precise doses.
