[origin: FR2787444A1] Use of diphenylamine derivatives of formula (I) as radical polymerization inhibitors for ethylenically unsaturated monomers is new. Composition for inhibiting the radical polymerization of ethylenically unsaturated monomers comprises at least one diphenylamine derivative of formula (I). A and B = the residue of a ring forming all or part of a carbocyclic, aromatic, monocyclic or polycyclic system; R<1>, R<2> = H or substituent(s); and n, m = the number of substituents on the ring (n + m is greater than or equal to 1).
