Abstract (en)

[origin: DE19858001A1] The invention relates to a prestressing member which has at least one tension element (5) and a common sheathing (3) for all of its tension elements (5). The aim of the invention is to configure a prestressing member of this type in such a way that at least one spacer (9) is located inside the sheathing (3) in order to prevent the tension elements (5) from resting against the sheathing wall (16), at least in the area of the spacer (9). The invention also relates to a device for prestressing structures, comprising at least one prestressing member (4) which in turn comprises at least one tension element (5) and a common sheathing (3) for all of its tension elements (5); and at least one bearing device for the prestressing member (4), the bearing device being situated on the structure and comprising at least one shaped part (19) for deviating the prestressing member (4). The device is configured in such a way that the shaped part (19) can alternatively be arranged in a guide in such a way that it can slide and therefore move in relation to the structure together with the prestressing member when the prestressing member (4) is stressed.
