Abstract (en)

[origin: FR2787235A1] The invention concerns a linking device for a sealed assembly wherein each chamber respectively fixed A and portable B is provided with at least an access opening equipped with a door (2, 3) co-operating with a flange (4, 5), with interposed sealing means (12, 14), one (2) of the two doors being articulated relatively to its flange (4), and the two doors (2, 3) are equipped with locking means on their respective flanges (4, 5) and matching linking means for linking them forming, by contact between the sealing means (12, 16), an internal space C insulating their surfaces (17, 18) with respect to the outside environment. The linking means between the two doors (2, 3) comprise a network of channels (30, 34, 35) provided at least in one of the doors, and emerging at one of its ends, from the outer surface (18) of said door into the sealed internal space C , said network being connected by its other end to a vacuum source (39). The device comprises, on a piping system connecting the vacuum source (39) to the network of channels (30, 34, 35) a sensor (44) measuring the value of the vacuum in said piping system. An alarm is triggered when said vacuum is lower than a specific threshold, thereby enabling a possible breakdown to be detected.
