[origin: WO0038207A1] The invention relates to an electromagnetic relay comprising two flat armatures (7A,7B) that respectively bear a contact spring (8A, 8B) which is provided with a connection (13A, 13B) and two contact pieces (10A, 10B or 10C, 10D). The contact pieces (10A, 10B or 10C, 10D) respectively interact with counter contact elements (11A-11D) that are arranged on respectively separated connections (12A-12D). The relay can be used in a particularly advantageous manner to link two direct current motors to three windings that are arranged in a star connection at the centre points of said star.
