Abstract (en)
The escape chute housing (14) is defined between a cover which faces the outside of the aircraft, and an intermediate panel (18) which lies on the inward side. The cover is able to fold away to the outside, with a pivot formed along its lower edge along the threshold of the door. The housing occupies the major part of the surface area of the door. The door (10) for an aircraft includes an integral housing (14) which is intended to hold a toboggan chute in its folded state. The housing (14) is defined between a cover which faces the outside of the aircraft, and an intermediate panel (18) which lies on the inward side. The cover is able to fold away to the outside, with a pivot formed along its lower edge along the threshold of the door. The housing occupies the major part of the surface area of the door. The housing has a uniform thickness, defined between the outer cover and the inner door skin, and has its edge defined by an inverted U-shape forming in the frame structure of the door. A cylinder (24) of compressed gas, such as nitrogen, is provided for inflating the chute when it is deployed.

La porte (10) d'un aéronef intègre un logement (14) apte à recevoir un toboggan, dans un état replié. Le logement (14) est délimité entre un capot (16) tourné vers l'extérieur de la porte (10) et une cloison intermédiaire (18). Le capot (16) est largable à l'extérieur de l'aéronef ou apte à pivoter par son bord inférieur sur le seuil de la porte, par l'intermédiaire de moyens d'armement désarmement. Dans un mode de réalisation, le logement occupe la majeure partie de la surface de la porte. <IMAGE>
