The vertical tubular-bag production machine (1) comprises a storage roll (3), deflector rollers (4), a sheet-pull (6) for transporting the length of sheeting, and a vertical filler tube (7). One side (28) of the filler tube has only one edge-welding device (15) for making a top seam (30). The opposite side (29) of the filler tube has two edge-welding devices for making two base-seams (37) belonging to the bag (13). The two welding devices belonging to the opposite side has an appliance for altering the space between the welding devices, and or an appliance for altering the distance between expander elements.

Mittels einer vertikalen Schlauchbeutelmaschine (1) werden Beutel (13) mit verschweißten Kanten (21) hergestellt. Die Beutel (13) sind oben flach und unten relativ dick. An einer Seite (28) des Füllrohres (7) ist dazu nur eine Kantenschweißeinrichtung (15) zur Erzeugung einer Kopfnaht (30) vorgesehen. An der gegenüberliegenden Seite (29) des Füllrohres (7) dienen zwei Kantenschweißeinrichtungen (15) der Erzeugung von zwei den Beutel (13) stabilisierenden Bodennähten (37). <IMAGE>
