The cladding is located on the inside, near the base, of a vertical balustrade filler-panel (4) and has a base-plate (12) , and a cladding profile (6) which bridges the space between the balustrade filler-panel and base-plate. The cladding panel may be situated on the outside (15) with a cladding profile (7) bridging the space between the filler-panel and the outer cladding. The cladding profile is bent under on the inside and or outside and has a downward pointing protuberance (6c,6d;7c,7d) near the bend (6a,6b;7a,7b) so as to clamp a plate or support surface between the bend and protuberance,

Die sockelseitige Abdeckung eines Balustradensockels (5) einer Fahrtreppe (1) oder eines Fahrsteiges ist auf der Innenseite einer senkrecht stehenden Balustradenfüllung (4) angeordnet und weist ein Sockelblech (12) sowie ein Abdeckprofil (6) auf. Die außenverkleidungsseitige Abdeckung ist auf der Außenseite der Balustradenfüllung (4) angeordnet und weist eine Außenverkleidung (15) sowie ein Abdeckprofil (7) auf. Erfindungsgemäß überbrückt das Abdeckprofil (6, 7) den Raum zwischen Balustradenfüllung (4) und dem Sockelblech (12) bzw. der Außenverkleidung (15) federnd. Es kann durch Klemmung fixiert sein und eine Dekorabdeckung (16) tragen. <IMAGE>
