[origin: WO0115797A2] The invention relates to a cross-flow filtration installation, comprising a filtration module (5), a tank (1) for a medium to be filtered (2) and a delivery pump (4), located between the tank (1) and the filtration module (5). In said installation, the medium (2) in the tank (1) is subjected to an increased pressure, using compressed gas or other devices. This allows media (2) of a high density to continue to be fed to the delivery pump (4), thus preventing operational interruptions in the installation.
