Abstract (en)
[origin: WO0021866A2] The invention relates to a method and a device for continuously unwinding a thread and to a method and a texturing machine for texturing a thread. The thread is unwound from a supply bobbin. The end of the thread of the supply bobbin is joined to the start of the thread of a second supply bobbin (the reserve bobbin) by a knot-type joint, in order to ensure that the line is continuous for working or processing. According to the invention, a sensor is provided. Said sensor detects the passing over of the thread from the supply bobbin to the reserve bobbin after the supply bobbin has run out and indicates this accordingly.
[origin: WO0021866A2] A thread (1) is unwound from a supply bobbin (2). The end (6) of the thread of the supply bobbin (2) is joined to the start (7) of the thread of a reserve bobbin (3) by a knot-type joint (5), in order to ensure that the line is continuous for working or processing. A sensor (4) is provided and detects the passing over of the thread from the supply bobbin (2) to the reserve bobbin (3) after the supply bobbin (2) has run out and indicates this accordingly.
