[origin: WO0110985A2] The invention relates to a lubricant for a ball-and-socket joint. Ball-shaped particles having two different particle sizes are inserted into an oil or a lubricating grease. The greater particles act as spacers which prevent a ball of the ball-and-socket joint to get placed onto a step bearing when the ball-and-socket joint is at a standstill. The smaller particles prevent an agglomeration of the greater particles. The smaller particles keep the greater particles at a distance from each other and thus distribute said greater particles in the gap of the ball-and-socket joint.
