Abstract (en)

[origin: DE19858476A1] The invention relates to a transmission module (5) for transmitting the displacement of an actuator (2) to a modulator (3). Said transmission module consists of a piston element (51) and a receiving element (52) which intermesh in a telescope-like manner. A pressure chamber (91) is formed between said piston element (51) and said receiving element (52). The piston element (51) and the receiving element (52) can be axially displaced by displacing the actuator from a first resting position, in which the connection between the pressure chamber (91) and a compensating chamber (92) is completely open, into a second position in which the connection between the pressure chamber (91) and the compensating chamber (92) is substantially disrupted.
