Abstract (en)

[origin: DE19950779A1] The injector has a high pressure reservoir connected via a 3/2-way valve to an injection nozzle. A control valve element connects a supply line to a high pressure line or a relief line opening into a reservoir tank. The control valve element has damping elements to damp the linear motion of the control valve element. The damping elements are in the form of offset diameters on the end regions of the control valve element. The injector has a high pressure reservoir (1) connected via a 3/2-way valve (3) to an injection nozzle (2). A control valve element (5) connects a supply line to a high pressure line or to a relief line opening into a reservoir tank. The control valve element has damping elements (7,22) on its ends opposite stops (8,18) to damp the linear motion of the control valve element. The damping elements are in the form of offset diameters on the end regions of the control valve element. Independent claims are also included for the following: an internal combustion engine with a fuel injection device.
