Said openings are offset against each other in an angle and are arranged at different radial distances from the axis of the post-combustion device (1). The lower partition wall (44) of the distribution chamber (6) is provided with a through-opening (80) for each segment and for the waste gas and a through-opening (81) for the clean gas. The through-opening (80) for waste gas is provided with the same radial distance from the axis of the post-combustion device (1) as the waste gas through-opening (76) of the rotary distributor (5). Accordingly, the through-opening (81) for clean gas is located in the lower partition wall (44) of the distribution chamber (6) at the same radial distance from the axis of the post-combustion device (1) as the clean gas through-opening (77) of the rotary distributor (5).
