[origin: WO0038277A1] The invention relates to a connecting terminal for electrical switching devices. The aim of the invention is to provide a material for a terminal frame which is especially suitable for open terminal frames and which is sufficiently solid and yet easy to process. To this end, the invention provides a material for a terminal frame which consists of a non-magnetizable steel with an austenite structure to which corresponding properties are imparted by a subsequent strain-hardening process.
