Die Erfindung betrifft einen Rasierapparat mit einem elektrischen Antrieb, mit einem mit Schneidmessern (3) versehenen rotierenden Scherkopf (1) und mit einer Scherfolie (4). Die Erfindung zeichnet sich dadurch aus, dass eine Reinigungsvorrichtung (6) vorgesehen ist, welche den Scherkopf (1) während des Betriebs reinigt und dass der trommelförmig ausgebildete Scherkopf (1) um seine Längsachse drehbar ist und auf dem Mantel seines zylinderförmigen Kerns (2) mindestens ein Schneidmesser (3) aufweist, welches stabförmig ist und in Längsrichtung des Scherkopfs (1) weist. <IMAGE>
