[origin: EP1146178A2] The broad band vibration absorbing article for walls, ceilings and floors has one or more panels (1) of thickness 0.01 - 50, especially 0.052 - 1.9 mm., but not 0.1 mm. These have holes (2) of average diameter or width (b) 0.001 - 2, especially 0.02 - 0.1 mm. The holes make up 0.1 - 20, especially 3 - 10% of the surface area of the panels.
