Abstract (en)
An antenna is provided with a snap-fit attachment. The configuration of the snap-fit feature allows the antenna to be clipped into the back cover of the portable device. By this means the direction of installation of the antenna is normal to the main printed circuit board of the device and a reduction in components is achieved. The installation of this antenna into the device is in the direction preferred for manufacturing assembly and testing. <IMAGE>
