[origin: EP1146602A2] The connector has two parts for connecting and locking together. A locking module on one part is movable axially and spring-loaded into a position in which it interacts with a counter element on the other part when the parts are joined. It is first moved out of the locking position by the other part and only released again when the parts are fully engaged to be forced back into the locking position by spring force and latch to the counter element. The connector has two parts (12,14) that can be connected together and locked together. A locking module (16) on one part (12) is movable axially and spring-loaded into a forward locking position in which it interacts with a counter element (20) on the other part (14) when the parts are joined. It is first moved out of the locking position by the other part and only released again when the parts are fully engaged to be forced back into the locking position by spring force and latch onto the counter element.
