[origin: WO0150549A1] The invention concerns a coaxial electrical connector operating as a switch, comprising a central conductor, an external conductor body forming earth contact, a contact part and a contact socket axially mobile about the central conductor, between a first position wherein it presses against the central conductor and the contact part, and a second position wherein it is spaced apart from the contact part, a return member being provided for urging the conductor socket into the first position. The return member consists of an elastically deformable tubular piece (11) engaged around the central conductor (3), said piece being arranged inside the conductor body (1), so as to be maintained therein by an outer cylindrical part (7), while being capable of bending elastically by radial deformation under the displacing action of the axially mobile conductor socket (7) when a matching element of the connector is coupled, said socket being designed to push back axially the free end (14) of said tubular piece (11).
