[origin: WO0138044A1] The invention relates to a machine tool (10) comprising a working chamber (26) which is defined by walls (12, 13, 14, 15) and a covering (27). A device for receiving a workpiece and a spindle head (18) comprising a work spindle (22) is arranged in said chamber. Tools (23) for processing the workpiece can be clamped in said device. The device and the spindle head (18) can be displaced in relation to each other. An opening that can be closed by means of a door (16, 17) is provided in a front wall (15). Said opening leads into the working chamber (25, 26). At least one part of the covering (27) can be displaced between two positions in such a way that said part closes the working chamber (25, 26) upwards in a first position and uncovers the working chamber in a second position for loading.
