[origin: US6457469B1] The invention relates to a device for cutting slabs or tiles, comprising a frame which has a support surface for the slabs or tiles and a cutting mechanism which is displaceably mounted on the frame, above the support surface, in order to produce a point of break in the surface of the slab or tile.
