[origin: FR2789061A1] The invention relates to a palletizing device for piles of printed booklets, comprising an input station (1), a basket (2) for conveying said booklets and which can be driven and displaced from the input station (1) to a pallet (3). The invention is characterized in that the basket (2) is provided with a bar (23) that extends from the side walls (22) of said basket (2) and is mounted in such a way that it is joined to driving means(24) that extend along said side walls (22) and are actuated in such a way that the bar (23) is displaced between an upper loading position (3) of the basket (2) and a lower position whereby the booklets are placed on the pallet and wherein the bar (23) is held in a stop position against the booklets that rest on the basket (2) when the basket (2) is driven and displaced towards the input station (1), whereby the booklets are retained by the bar (23) while the receiving plane (21) of the basket (2) is withdrawn from underneath the booklets. The invention can be used with palletizing devices for printed booklets.
