Abstract (en)

[origin: WO0136768A1] The invention relates to a lock-key system consisting of a key (3), a cylinder housing (1), wherein the cylinder core (2) is rotatably mounted, and staple elements (4) that engage with notches (8) on the key. The cylinder core (2) is provided with grooves (5) which extend radially over a part of said core and on the circumference and are axially arranged behind each other. Staple elements (4) that are embodied in a segment-like manner are arranged in said grooves (5). A locking rail (10) which can be radially moved towards the inside and can be radially pushed towards the outside by a spring force is provided in a longitudinal recess (14) of the cylinder housing (1). The staple elements (4) can be displaced in the grooves and in the circumferential direction of the cylinder core against a spring force and by means of the notches on the lateral surface of the key and in such a way that, when the coding of the key and the notches matches, recesses (13) in the staple elements (4) are directed in such a way that the locking rail (10) can be radially moved towards the inside and into the recesses in such a way that the cylinder core can be rotated.
