Abstract (en)
A crimping tool for clamping plastic pipes onto fittings has a pliers type of design with two parts (6, 7) of the crimping jaws linked to the two handles. One handle is split into two sections (8, 9) to provide a close spaced grip with the front section and a power grip for the rear section. When working in confined spaces the jointed grip is set into an angle to bring the ends of the handles closer together. A sliding control (27) is pressed to enable the handle to be bent.

Die Handpresszange dient zum Verpressen insbesondere von Rohrverbindungen und besitzt zwei gegeneinander bewegbare Handgriffe (3, 4) und zwei Pressbacken (7), die ein Pressgesenk (5) bilden. Die eine (6) dieser Pressbacken (6, 7) ist starr an einem der Handgriffe (4) angebracht und die andere Pressbacke (7) ist schwenkbar an diesem Handgriff (4) angelenkt und über ein Abstützgelenk (12) mit dem anderen Handgriff (3) verbunden. Die beiden Handgriffe (3, 4) sind über jeweils ein weiteres Abstützgelenk (13, 14) mit einem Druckhebel (16) schwenkbar verbunden und dieser Druckhebel (16) bildet mit dem beweglichen Handgriff (3) einen Kniehebeltrieb. Mit einer Zwangssperre (17) wird ein Öffnen der Handpresszange (2) vor Erreichen der Schliessanlage des Pressgesenks (5) verhindert. Zwischen der beweglichen Pressbacke (7) und dem beweglichen Handgriff (3) ist eine Übersetzung (24) mit wenigstens zwei Stellungen angeordnet, die unterschiedlichen Öffnungswinkeln (26) der Pressbacken (6, 7) entsprechen. <IMAGE> <IMAGE>
