Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1148248A2] The pump housing is fastened to a drive motor housing, and has a suction socket opening into it. The pump housing consists of a pot-shaped upper section (9) carrying the axial suction socket (11) and s pressure socket (13) extending from it, and a lower section (15). The lower housing section seals the pump housing fluid-proof towards the drive motor (7), and acts as seal carrier. It supports itself elastically on the A-sided bearing shield (17) of the motor housing (5).
