Abstract (en)

[origin: EP1148579A2] The system has one or more mobile units, each with a telescopic mast system, mountable antennas and an equipment container with mobile radio devices. The mobile unit has a frame (2) deployed from a vehicle by a tilt and roll structure. The equipment container (12) and mast system (3) are mounted on the frame. The mast (4) is deployed from the horizontal position to the vertical working position by a generator (15) and hydraulic pump (16).
