Device comprises a microphone (7), a discriminator (11) for recognition of the voice profile, a voice recognition device (12) and an electronic command unit for moving an actuator as required. Commands are given by a surgeon or user via the microphone and a validation unit (16) is pressed by the user to validate the command. The invention also relates to an operating table using such a command system.

Le système de commande comprend un microphone (7) relié à un bloc récepteur (9) et fournissant des signaux audio à un bloc discriminateur (11) comparant le profil vocal du locuteur avec un profil particulier de locuteur habilité enregistré dans une carte à puce (20) personnelle au locuteur. Les signaux audio habilités sont ensuite traités dans un dispositif de reconnaissance de voix et une unité de commande électronique pour actionner sélectivement un des actionneurs (3) de la table d'opération en réponse à un ordre vocal précis prononcé dans le microphone et validé par un organe de validation (16) actionné par le locuteur. <IMAGE>
