[origin: EP1149695A1] A water dosing system for an offset printing press has the dosing roller (5) fitted with scrapers (15) before and after the contact zone (13) with the print cylinder, to flatten out any peaks created by the contact zone. Additional scrapers can be fitted to the rider rollers (9, 10). The scrapers are set near tangential and comprise elastic strips on adjustable mountings.
