[origin: EP1149697A2] The method involves measuring the angular position of the wheel train at two different points, whereby the position of an individual drive (9,10) is set depending on the difference resulting from the angular settings. The measurement is made before the start of a printing process in a predetermined operating state and the drives are biased by the difference during printing.
