[origin: EP1026399A1] The end profile of each screw is multiple-start but not point-symmetrical. Just one flank(6) of one tooth is formed as a cycloidal concave flank, and all the three other flanks(8-10) are convexly curved. Through corresponding construction of the individual end profile and limiting curves there is conformity of profile centre of gravity and centre of rotation. The end profile has two teeth formed from the aforesaid cycloidal concave flank, three convex flanks, two addendum circle curves(K) of equal radius, and two dedendum circle curves(F) of equal radius.
