[origin: EP1151926A2] A label for a drinks bottle is impregnated with microcapsules containing an aroma characteristic of the contents in the bottle. The prospective purchaser can rub the label with finger/thumb to check the quality of the contents. A sight impaired person can easily check what drink he is selecting. To prevent a front label being soiled by finger marks the aromatic label can be applied to the rear of the bottle.
