Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1152108A2] The vehicle (V) emits a stream of security bits which are returned by the remote unit (I) after a delay. When a returned bit is received the vehicle emits the next bit. A counter records the number of bits emitted, and a maximum acceptable time for communication of this number of bits computed, and compared to the recorded time for a communication. An excessive time stops the communication.
