Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1152204A2] A heat exchanger panel has interdigitated ducts for two mediums connected via inlet/outlet ports in the four corners of the panel to enable the panel to be built into a stack with similar panels. Each panel has a pressed insert (6) to form the ducts for the medium flows. The pressed insert has flats (11) to press against both inside faces of the walls (2) of the heat exchanger to form a strong support with good heat transfer characteristics.
