Abstract (en)
The vacuum module has a cylindrical enclosure (1) closed at each end (2,3). Two contacts (4,5) extend axially inside the enclosure, with one contact (5) displaced by an operating mechanism. The opening of the contacts creates an axial magnetic field to diffuse the arc. The cooling of the contacts is accelerated by a liquid flowing over the contact surface (7) during interruption of the current.

La présente invention concerne une ampoule à vide A, notamment pour un appareil de protection électrique tel un interrupteur ou un disjoncteur, ladite ampoule A comprenant une enveloppe de forme sensiblement cylindrique (1) fermée par deux fonds (2,3), deux contacts (4,5) s'étendant axialement à l'intérieur de l'enveloppe (1) dont l'un au moins dit contact mobile (5), est relié à un mécanisme de commande et est monté coulissant entre une position de fermeture des contacts (4,5) correspondant à une position de repos de l'appareil et une position dans laquelle les contacts d'arc (4,5) sont séparés et forment un arc électrique entre eux, la séparation des contacts (4,5) entraînant la coupure du circuit électrique, ainsi qu'un moyen de production d'un champs magnétique axial de diffusion de l'arc dans la zone de formation de l'arc. Selon l'invention, cette ampoule A comporte des moyens pour accélérer le refroidissement du matériau de contact sous forme liquide s'écoulant sur la surface de contact (7) du ou desdits contacts d'arc (4,5) pendant la coupure. <IMAGE>
