[origin: DE19907026A1] A tensioning mechanism engaging in the region between the tool shaft (14) and connecting sleeve (20) comprises an operating nut which is screwed onto an external thread of the sleeve coaxial with the spindle axis. The axial movement of the nut during the tensioning process can be converted with the interposition of at least one intermediate member such as a V-gearing into the radial movement of the tension element (24''). The tool shaft is restricted at its base by a radially protruding ring surface against which the connecting sleeve is pressed by its free end side under the action of the tensioning mechanism.
