[origin: FR2789801A1] The invention concerns a field emitter array capable of microwave modulation, comprising at least an array (R) of emissive tips, means for producing a microwave modulation signal including a semiconductor element (S) controllable in microwave modulation in the proximity of the tips and a short micro-line (L) for routing the modulation signal towards the array of tips which produces an impedance adaptation between the array of tips (R) and the modulation semiconductor element (S). The invention is useful for producing a compact field emitter array.
