The fire-proof cover-all (1) consists of a light fabric made of material which ignites with difficulty in the case of fire, such as flame-retarding material or glass fiber fabric. The cover has fluorescent strips or is entirely of a signal color. The cover can be folded up compactly, and can be thrown off and does not restrict movement.

Die Erfindung beschreibt einen Brandschutzumhang mit fluoreszierenden Sicherheitstreifen oder Felder zum Schutz der Passagiere vor Hitzeeinwirkung und Flammen bei Entstehung eine Brandes in Flugzeugen, z.B. bei Notlandungen. Die fluoreszierenden Sicherheitsstreifen oder Felder ermöglichen das rasche Auffinden von hilfebdürftigen Passagieren, die nicht mehr aus eigener Kraft das Flugzeug verlassen können. <IMAGE>
