[origin: EP1153711A2] The bed (1) has a square-section channel (3) between the two horizontal sliding surfaces (5). There are three carriages (7,8,11), which may be moved along the bed or clamped in place by screws (19,24). Clamping jaws (9,10) may be fastened to the ends of the carriages to grip a workpiece. Teeth on the guide piece (12) of each carriage may engage with fine teeth (14) on the side of the guide rail.
